Cheesy is one thing. I do enjoy MAD KING THORN'S jokes for the most part. But IMHO, the 'retreat' one stunk it up.

The dumbest thing EVAR I've seen in or about Guild Wars is the Frog Scepter wiki page.

Someone actually salvaged one to see what it breaks down into....

This is something I can say about my guild and how we treat each other. I logged in and apperantly one of the members was raging at a hard part of the game. So he asks for assistance in his rage quit mode and spelt help wrong. Me deciding to tease him corrected his mistake it was all good and everything until a little later he wanted to get me back. So i brought up how I only needed 30 ectos till getting my obi (I'll be the first in the guild with it so big deal lol). When the rage quit guy from earlier corrected me saying the plural form of ectos is ecti. Somehow this made everyone in my guild grammar nazis ( myself included as I was doing for the lolz). Eventually things got out of hand and being the only officer on I had to pull out the quite or kicked card

first time for me. My guild is filled with morons; morons who I love, but still very dumb.

Actually, if you have the in-game filter on, you actually get censored stuff like "----ed cleric". Seeing that was the first time I found out that there WAS an option to turn a filter on (or, in my case, off)

Kicked for using an emote or for saying "damn"? There's no number high enough or word precise enough to express how sad that is.

Every single time I mention Adobe's damn Flash I add 'damn' before damn Flash, and did that countless times in the Steam forums (on every single game I bought without knowing it was a damn Flash game), and no one was ever bothered by it at all.

There must be something really wrong with the roster of leaders in that guild. Maybe they are in some kind of religious sect or something.

Oh I had no problem with him using it, but the reason he chose was a poor one. I don't care what anyone uses in a party, as long as they enjoy what they're using.

In a former guild I got a 'talking to' for using the word butt... yes... butt. Do some people really find that word offensive?

I also got in trouble for bitch and ass, and it wasn't name calling. I believe I said a mission with henchmen was a bitch, and we got our asses kicked.

I never considered myself having a potty mouth but perhaps I do?

Damn doesn't bother me either.

The problem lies, I believe, in word context for me. You can say the 'f' word all you want since it really doesn't have a meaning of its own any longer, it's all in the context of the sentence. It can be a compliment, a happy word, a bad word or a sad word. However, I don't use it since it has such a stigma attached to it.

Anyway, sorry you got kicked for 'damn', as you can see, I've had the same problem.
